Two vulnerabilities have been identified in RealPlayer, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
- An error when handling filenames in RMP can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow.
- An error when parsing RealMedia files can be exploited to cause a memory corruption.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
