- Registry Virtualization Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in the way that Windows Registry Virtualization improperly allows a user to modify the virtual store of another user. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could run arbitrary code in the security context of the account of another user who is logged on to the affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts potentially with full user rights. - Impersonation Level Check Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when Windows fails to properly validate and enforce impersonation levels. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could bypass user account checks to gain elevated privileges.
