An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in the Windows graphics component when it fails to properly process bitmap conversions. An authenticated attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could elevate privileges on a targeted system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full administrative rights.
