Apple iOS Notification Unicode Character Processing Vulnerability

A vulnerability has been identified in Apple iOS, which can be exploited by a remote user to cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted string of Unicode characters to trigger a flaw in the Springboard component and cause the target device to crash and reboot.

Note:

• The attack is being exploited in the wild.
• There is currently no vendor patch.
