Build a Secure Cyberspace 2023 “Protect Your Online Identity” Seminar and Speech Contest Award Ceremony

We are now witnessing the advancement and development of technology, and technology has indeed become an indispensable part of our everyday lives. While the Internet has broadened our horizons, it has also increased the risk of cyber security. Cybercriminals will, by hook or by crook, attempt to steal our online identities, or our personal and other sensitive information. Apart from staying vigilant, we should also learn how to protect our online identities so as to enjoy the convenience and stay safe online.

In this connection, the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF), and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) jointly organise the “Protect Your Online Identity” seminar.  In this seminar, cyber security experts will give us useful tips and advice on the protection of our digital identities in order to mitigate the damage caused by identity theft.
