“All-Out Anti-Phishing” Moving Showroom Campaign Season 2
The Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) has launched a Moving Showroom campaign focusing on commercial phishing attacks. The campaign, in collaboration with DinDong, will showcase simple and common examples of phishing attacks in the workplace to help citizens understand and defend against different types of phishing techniques. For example, citizens can enhance their personal account security by setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA), while companies can arrange courses or guidelines to teach employees how to identify suspicious signs. Citizens should also verify the identity of the sender and the authenticity of the content when receiving messages and emails, avoid clicking on suspicious links and attachments, and use secure payment platforms when making payments.
The moving showroom will also exhibit phishing attack information, including what phishing attacks are, how citizens can respond when encountering phishing traps, and the common signs of phishing traps. Additionally, there will be mini-games and limited-edition souvenirs to boost the participation of citizens.
