Seminar: "IT in Education Technological Series: Protect Schools' IT Systems and Data" (18/12/2014) Build a Secure Cyberspace 2014 - Information Security Starts from Me

 

Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF), Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) and Education Bureau (EDB) jointly organise information security seminars for teachers and technical support staff on 18 December 2014 (Thursday) afternoon and 9 January 2015 (Friday) afternoon at Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library.

The seminar aims to enhance the knowledge of schools' IT administrators, including teachers and technical support staff, in protecting the data, systems and networks in the schools to minimize the risks of cyber-attack and data leakage.

 

The contents of the above seminars are identical. The details of the seminar are as follows:
