Poster Design Contest Build a Secure Cyberspace 2012
Cyber attack is a security threat being faced worldwide. There are frequent reports on a series of cyber attack (e.g. denial of services, website defacement, hacking activities) to the government agencies and the giant organizations in many cities. It could cause the malfunctioning of targeted computer systems or networks resulting in information leakage, identity theft and/or disrupted businesses or services. All businesses, governments, schools, and individuals are potentially exposed to the risks of cyber attack.
To benefit from the advances in Internet while minimising the potential of a cyber attack to occur, we have organised a “Combating Cyber Attack” poster design contest. The objective of the contest is to enhance public awareness about the importance of safeguarding their computer and information assets from cyber attacks.
The winning design will be shown on the organisers’ website, featured on the publications of the “Build a Secure Cyberspace” campaign.
The contest is divided into Student Group and Open Group.
- Student group: Open to all full-time primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong. All team members must from the same school.
- Open group: Open to all Hong Kong residents.
