In recent years, cybersecurity has become one of the most prominent and talent-scarce fields in the information technology sector. Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions are designed to train these specific skills and mindsets. Participants need to find the hidden vulnerabilities in a simulated environment based on real systems to break through security defences. Upon success, they capture “flags” and earn points. 

HKCERT Capture The Flag 2024 Seminar and Ceremony which organised by the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT), the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and Digital Policy Office (DPO) will be held on 21 January 2025. Apart from announcing the result and presenting awards to winners, cybersecurity experts are invited to share up-to-date information on cybersecurity and how the new generation can join the industry.
