Pay attention to fake "PopVote" website

Today, some people on the Internet spreaded a fake "PopVote" website to lure citizens to enter information, HKCERT had contacted the person in charge of "PopVote" and confirmed that they do not own this website. HKCERT had contacted related agencies to take action to terminate the operation of this fake website. This fake website (popvote.com.hk) requires citizens to enter personal information (telephone number and email address), and the website showed that some citizens have done so.

HKCERT warns the citizens who had entered personal information in the fake website, that fraudsters might use your personal information to conduct frauds. Please stay vigilant.
